Seriously, to survive in KL without having your own car, you need to think really fast when it comes to which transport u can use to reach home economically and efficiently. Without having to take a cab which costs a lot. Especially in rainy days where traffic is jam everywhere.
And I like the feeling of paying only Rm2 of bus fare to go Mid Valley from Damansara Utama or from Damansara Utama to Petaling Street. Rm2 which is the starting price of a cab’s fare. 
My dad used to say this to me,”You are only a student with no income, so live like one.” o.O
