My parents are good in giving compliments
Fiona was saying we should learn how to accept compliments gracefully. (Well, just that I wouldn’t accept a compliment like how she does –> with a geisha smile) So yesterday CNY eve, when I was mopping the floor, my dad was sitting aside and he said this to me.
‘Hua ah, you really very fat already le.’
*Deep breath*
I think he means I eat well and sleep well = healthy. Such an unique compliment for the starting of Chinese New Year, hor?

Today, my mom said this when she was passing me the ‘lap chiong’ during dinner.
‘Hua, eat more la. After CNY, you go back KL only diet.’
*Deep breath*
I’ll will take that somewhere in between there is a compliment similar to the one my dad gave me.

HAHAHAHAHAHa…catherine, like your interpretation!
