Just watch Heirloom. My advice? Just download or buy dvd la. Not to say it’s not a nice horror movie. But it’s not that worthy to watch in cinema for freaking RM9.00 a person. The sound effect was rather so-so only. And I found the effect played at the wrong time and just to create suspense. Which actually suspence for nothing. Nope, not like usual horror movies where it’s actually your friend was behind you when you turn around. Nothing at all.
*Horror sound effect plays*
Me cover my WHOLE face with my jacket…
*The actress walks further more into the dark corridor*
My heart beats faster and faster!!!
*Horror sound effect stops*
And the scene changes…

James Chang is cute. But his acting a bit raw and unnatural. Especially his mandarin. He speaks like he’s reading a textbook. No emotions. Tak ade. But the ending part, I don’t know whether should I say he put more emotions in it or he was over-acting it. But, he is cute. (Have I say that already?
)
Terri Kwan’s voice is so ladylike. Whenever she is doing the sad face and pitiful tone, I will go “Awwww”. Well, I watched a drama which she was a part of it as well. Her acting has improved here in Heirloom. I love her long hair.

- “Those who equate shock or being startled with horror may feel deceived or shortchanged by The Heirloom.”
- “If only the Heirloom had lingered a bit longer in certain scenes to raise the suspense or used effective soundtracks to build up the climatic scares, then it would at least pass my minimal scare factors for a horror movie.”
“A good choice that Terri Kwan carried the bulk of the movie as James Chang’s performance came across rather unnatural and forced, specially in his delivery of dialogue which sounded like Mandarin with Cantonese accent instead of the American accent since his character was supposed to have been abroad for almost twenty years.”
“The Heirloom lacks of any intense scare factors found in most horror movies.”

Well, the companies were great.
I had lots of fun laughing and teasing even though I ended up didnt study the rest of the night.
Nvm la, I studied in the afternoon wart.
