My mom bought a new car few months ago so I have been driving the new Gen 2 since I’m back. Her old Nissan car was parked at my dad’s office and nobody is using it. To be precise, it was neglected since the joining of the new Gen 2 into the family.

On the way to have breakfast with my dad today, he asked me to take the car as what he said, nobody is driving it. Hence, the past tense above.

But I never ask for it. I never complain for not having a car when my mom is using her Gen 2 also.

*pouts*

I know la. He actually wants me to take the car so I can send my sister around.

Me, being a filial daughter as usual, took the ‘offer’ even though it’s unnecessary for me to have a car to drive around. Besides, I dont really care. So, I drove it home after filled the petrol tank full.

I used to drive the car right after I got my license. Before this, the reverse gear was HORRIBLE. Have you ever seen a driver switches to reverse gear with both hands? That will be me and the Nissan car.

I had to use both hands holding the gear and pushed as hard as I can to reverse gear. I used to have aunties passed by my car and looked at me in a weird way, then 2 seconds later, they bursted into laughters while fingers pointing at me, of course.

I drove the car to school when I was in Senior 2 and I remembered I almost bumped into bushes because I couldn’t estimate the length of the front of my car when I was parking.

Then, when school was over, I almost couldn’t drive my car home because I wasn’t familiar with the special method used to reverse the car in the carpark. I kept trying but failed. A few of my male friends even took turns trying to help me make the reverse gear.

Imagine this, I was standing outside the car, one guy was at the driver seat trying and the rest were lining up waiting their turns to take the challenge.

The ultimate challenge. That’s how they used to describe the car. They even said driving it can train musles because of the steering wheel. With that kind of steering wheel, I really thought I used to drive a ship. It is so hard to turn.

So this will be the only sole reason that I don’t want to take the car if anyone ever ask. Besides, I’m doing fine without a car anyway.

But then, my mom told me that my dad took the car to service and got it fixed. When I got into the car just now, I was horrified.

The car was way older and damaged than the last time I drove it. The seat belt is so smelly and the gear is greasy.

*smells hands*

*chokes*

Well, at least the reverse gear is much better now. I seriously thought the car was going to break down or one of the tyres will fall off before I manage to reach home safely. Lucky nothing like that happens.

So here we meet again, old hag Nissan.
