Kuching 2nd day - Cat Museum part 2, Damai Beach, Mini Zoo
Cat Museum pictures part 2.
End of visit.
We went to Damai beach to have a look. The resort is beautiful especially the beach. Crystal clear water and white sands, it is a very tempting place to stay for at least a night. We moved on to the famous Culture Village (or is it called Cultural Village?) but it was nearly 5pm. According to my uncle’s niece, the Village is worth a one-day visit so it will be better if we come another day in the morning. She also said that they supposed to have this dance starts at 5pm. So we stopped by to ask for the entrance fees only.
Sarawakian including spouse - RM20.00
Students - RM 10.00
Others - RM 40.00
After that, we were hungry so we went for seafood at this restaurant beside a mini zoo. Well, the mini zoo is definately mini enough. There is peacocks, monkeys and the most disgusting living thing on the earth, snakes. Pythons. Damn fat and lazy. I just had a glimpse. Didn’t dare to look closer.
We had the Kuching-style ou jian. It’s something like fried crispy pizza with the ou jians in the middle. But it didn’t have much ou jian actually, so it’s not really worth it. Other dishes were ok. We ordered this dish but I don’t remember the name. It’s a type of vege only found in kampung, if I’m not wrong. It’s very tiny and curled up, like a green super mini lollipop.
